Dr Meredith Hyde - Director
Dr Meredith Hyde grew up as a third-culture kid, moving between countries and developing a natural affinity for those navigating the challenges and opportunities of living in a new environment. She earned her BA in English Literature from Yale University and her MPhil and DPhil from the University of Oxford, where her doctoral research focused on metacognition in study abroad. Dr Hyde has taught at universities across the United States, Canada, and the UK. She became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 2010 and previously served as Director of the Syracuse University London Programme. She became Director of the Tufts in London and Tufts in Oxford programmes in 2019. A committed advocate for inclusive international education, Dr Hyde served on The Forum on Education Abroad’s First Generation Student in Education Abroad working group in 2025–26. In 2026, she received the prestigious Loren Ringer Award for On-Site International Educators. Her love affair with London is rooted in its theatres, from the National Theatre to the intimate pub theatres around the corner. Outside work, she is the mother of twin sons, ensuring that work–life balance remains, as ever, a work in progress.
Vicky Hill - Assistant Director
Vicky Hill grew up on the Yorkshire Moors and has lived in the Czech Republic and Israel, but now considers herself a fully-fledged Londoner. Over her 15 years working in International Education, she has helped students settle into London from all over the world. She enjoys watching every new cohort discover the city and says seeing it through fresh eyes helps her fall back in love with London in a different way each time. She spends her free time writing poetry and mudlarking for treasure on the Thames foreshore with her two daughters. Vicky joined Tufts in London and Oxford in 2019 and became Assistant Director in 2021. She has a BA in English from the University of Birmingham and an MA in Children's Literature from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
Nicollette Kabat - Programme Coordinator
Nicollette Kabat grew up in Pennsylvania and attended college at Arcadia University, earning a BA in Psychology. The daughter of Polish immigrants, Nicollette was interested in studying outside of the USA and attended two study abroad experiences in London during her time at Arcadia. Her love of the city influenced her decision to move back to London after graduation. Apart from taking care of her cats, she spends her time exploring castles and historical locations across the UK and reading Jane Austen. She has worked at the study abroad offices of Arcadia University and Fordham University prior to joining Tufts in London and Tufts in Oxford as the Programme Administrator.
Monique Jeffrey-Weekes - Student Engagement Coordinator
Monique Jeffrey-Weekes has lived in London her whole life. She has a BSc in Criminology from London South Bank University and over 10 years' experience working with university students, most recently within student accommodation. Monique likes visiting different areas of the UK as there is always something new to see, especially in London! She also enjoys travelling the world and experiencing different cultures.
Juetzinia Kazmer-Murillo -- Academic Coordinator
Juetzinia Kazmer-Murillo grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and is an educator dedicated to supporting transformative global experiences. She holds a BA in Mathematics and Spanish from Claremont McKenna College, where she studied abroad in Chile, and an MA in International Comparative Education from the Stanford Graduate School of Education. Most recently a Research Manager focused on creating and elevating a practical knowledge base, she has also served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Madrid and coordinated Fulbright Teacher Exchanges. In her free time, she enjoys reading memoirs, learning to embroider, and sharing her love for skincare with others.
