The Tufts in Oxford and Tufts in London programmes are currently suspended and have moved to a remote academic format online. The safety of our students is paramount, and unfortunately, the recent escalation in COVID-19 cases around the globe, the increasing mitigation efforts by local authorities, and the associated health risks of having our students meet in large groups and live in halls of residence are all factors that contributed to this difficult decision.
The Oxford programme, which started in 1988, makes it possible for a small group of highly qualified Tufts undergraduates to spend an academic year as fully integrated visiting students at Pembroke College, Oxford. The London program, which began in 1984, partners with four universities -- University College London (UCL), the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), Royal Holloway (RHUL) and the University of the Arts (UAL) – and enrols up to fifty Tufts undergraduates as affiliate students on both full year and semester programs of study.
